With this spirit, the “Anemocyte Run4Life” team—made up of five Anemocyte employees—took part in the 2025 Milano Marathon, choosing to support the Italian Cystic Fibrosis Research Foundation (FFC Ricerca – ETS) through the Rete del Dono fundraising platform.
The people behind this initiative were Massimo Carraro, Marisa Marzocca, Emanuel Vegro, Maura Guardabascio, and Davide Valier. The team joined the Relay Marathon, a charity event that brought together thousands of runners—marathoners, relay runners, and families—turning the heart of Milan into a joyful celebration of sport, energy, and solidarity.
Anemocyte chose to be there, embracing FFC Ricerca’s mission and contributing to the fundraising efforts for a cause that is urgent and still too little known.
Cystic Fibrosis research supported by Anemocyte
Cystic fibrosis is a severe genetic disease that affects respiratory function and reduces both life expectancy and quality of life. Every contribution to research is a step toward increasingly effective therapies and a future where everyone can breathe freely.
“We ran with our hearts,” shared the team, “because every kilometer is a tangible sign of closeness to those who fight every day. We can’t cure, but we can help make sure those who can, have the tools to go far.”
